Still choppy, quiet or feeding back? With the mic on, tap it, stay quiet through the hiss, then play and sing for 20 s, and send the file: it holds what the mic heard and what Yocoda played. It stays on your device.

On speakers: when the mic opens, Yocoda plays a soft hiss for ~3 s to measure your room, so stay quiet for that moment, then it tells you how loud the echo is. The louder the speaker is compared with your voice at the mic, the more of your voice the canceller has to take out with the echo — so on a phone, hold it close to your mouth, sing out, and keep the volume moderate; headphones are the only way to the fully clean sound. Feeding back? Turn the device echo canceller on and the volume down a notch. Choppy on a phone? Try the device echo canceller Off: Yocoda's own canceller is smoother, though an iPhone may play quieter. Too quiet on a phone? Keep Output route on Media player, press the volume-up button while it plays (phones switch to call volume when the mic is open) and raise Output. Crackly? Use Stable.
